According to the Korea Customs Service Headquarter, The number of infringement goods related to intellectual property rights was 30,856 cases under the customs clearance stage in 2019. It was decreased up to 41%(52,433 cases) compared to 2018. 

This is due to the establishment of the “Intellectual Property Rights Infringement Mail Disposal System” (implemented on November 26, 2018).
